2019

In April 2019, we gathered at the studio of Karla Steen, a board member, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Shot by Kaiya Morales, these photos represent a truly intimate “I Am” Series event. This “I Am” Series photoshoot was the first to include testimony from survivor speakers and conversation over light refreshments. More than a photoshoot, it was a bonding event.

At this event, the buttons we offered to participants were white and displayed SAYSN’s current logo over the image of a flower, in line with the floral background we had put together for the photos.
